Governor Tim Kaine, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is coming to town.  Gov. Kaine will be laying out the choice the American people have in front of them in November -- a choice between Democrats who are moving America forward, and Republicans who want to take us back to the failed policies of the past.  This is a chance to hear the ideas of one of our most prominent political leaders addressing the most important issues of our times.

Last week I participated in the first televised debate in this campaign for Congress on the Larry Kane Voice of Reason show.  I discussed my policies for job creation and economic development in the 7th District, drawing a stark contrast between my plans and those of my opponent, Pat Meehan.

The entire debate was televised Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. on The Comcast Network's "Larry Kane Voice of Reason."   There will be an encore presentation on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

My campaign is making strides on all fronts.  I have embarked upon my 25-stop Economic Tour during which I have visited small businesses and plants throughout the district, and we have more in the works.  Last week, we held an open forum on the economy in Clifton Heights.  It marked the fifth stop on the 10-week Economic Tour that is giving local business leaders and working families a chance to air their views about the economy.  Look out for information about upcoming tour stops!

Volunteer support for this campaign is stronger than ever. Supporters like you are in our office every day to make phone calls and knock on doors to spread the word about our campaign.
